Every year around this time, we like to reflect on what we’re grateful for. The Holistic Holiday at Sea Vegan Cruise wouldn’t be possible without the presenters, sponsors, organizers, and people who join us year after year. Thank you so much for all of your support!

In the spirit of gratitude, we reached out to our presenters to hear how gratitude impacts their lives. Here’s what they shared.

Dr. Neal Barnard

I am grateful that, this year, vegan diets entered the mainstream—restaurants, celebrities, athletes, and, yes, more doctors than ever are embracing healthful, compassionate eating habits.

Brenda Davis

Gratitude is a powerful emotion, and one that I embrace and practice on a daily basis. To me, gratitude is what turns what we have into enough. It is what turns a house into a home. It is what turns acquaintances into friends. It is what turns food into a feast. It is what turns a job into a joy. It is what turns the ordinary things of nature into masterpieces. It is what allows us to live a full and truly meaningful life.

Every day, I am overwhelmed with gratitude–gratitude for my family, my friends and the country I call home; gratitude for the entire plant-based community, and my place in that community; gratitude for delicious plant-based food, and gratitude for the privilege of being afforded the opportunity to make a positive difference in this world.

Dr. Yoav Suprun

I am thankful that at the age of 48 I became a father to an amazing boy named Dean! Everyday I’m feeling gratitude for my ability to help people get rid of pain. My gratitude goes to Robin Mckenzie, the man who invented the method I use.

Dr. Jibin

To me gratitude is a meter to measure one’s understanding about life and the “self.” The more we understand about the essence of life and ourselves, the more we become acceptive and humble about whatever falls upon us. Life is a mirror, essentially whatever we experience is inside out–as within, so without.

During the course of 2019, I have witnessed and experienced so many incredible events and encounters including those from the spiritual domain. Thankful may not be the right word or maybe there is no such word to term what I have gone through. The only thing I can say is that I have received the answers from the universe and there is nothing else I need to search for except walking the path that I am destined in this life.

Dr. Debra Kimless

I am thankful for my family and friends who are a continuous source of love and support. I am thankful for the ability to be a source of healing and hope to those in need.

Keiichiro Kita

Having our state of mind flow with gratitude is the foundation of Kita Sound Healing Treatment Method. Feeling grateful will bring us more opportunities to be grateful. Sending grateful thoughts to every moment and every thing is the golden key to happiness and harmonic revolution. I learned this from my teacher of Energy Medicine when I was 13 years old with a serious kidney illness. I kept sending positive words to my kidney and all my tissues with my touch.

Bright, positive words are powerful. They emit enormous energy, which creates a joyful and healthy future for ourselves and the people around us. Words have special phonetic power, known as “koto-dama” in Japanese, and the force of “koto-dama” is strong enough to effect change in the world.

Every year I have the chance to meet people from the US in a gentle way on the cruise. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity. I will send grateful and peaceful energy with my words to all people on the cruise. May peace prevail on earth.
